CONTRARY to what L. Holland implies, (Letters, 17th Nov.) I never said I was against organ donation and would prefer my body to be consumed complete.
Come the time, if any bits of me are still useful as spares, I’m quite willing for them to be used – as long as I’m dead first!
The thrust of my letter was my objection to the ‘presumed consent’ legislation passed by our Assembly; and very many feel the same.
Far better I would have thought, to encourage people to register voluntarily.
