TONIGHT, Monday, January 18 on BBC 4 television was a programme entitled: “Nature’s Wonderlands: Evolution, Hawaii: A New Eden. Richard Fortey investigates why islands are laboratories of evolution”.
The programme, to cite one example, showed the adaptive radiation of finches on the island which had all evolved from one original tyre of finch species (proved by genetic analysis).
Different types of finches evolved to feed specific foods.
I wonder if Messrs McCarthy, Ashton and Donnelly will be writing to the BBC to object as they do not believe in evolution?
