Put an end to it

THANK goodness the Joe Marler circus is over.
Let’s be honest, the bloke has been hung out to dry, as it were.
Was what he said that bad? Not really.
He apologised at half time and to his credit Samson Lee accepted it.
This should have been an end to it until the dangerous politically correct brigade put its oar in again and made a mountain out of a molehill.
I played numerous times in the Valleys and was subjected to many a comment, being called a towny this and a towny that.
And because of my rather portly and rotund figure it brought many a despairing slur on my person.
But these same people would stand at the bar with me and enjoy a libation or 20.
By the way, this is from a proud Welshman and I am not supporting Joe Marler, it is the principal of the matter.
