ON READING Allan Morris column on April 25 I felt the need to reply.
Ramps won’t solve the problem, we have enough ramps down Aberthaw Road, Cromwell Road and Liswerry Road and still they speed down there.
If he means road narrowing like Mendalgief Road, then that may solve the problem to a certain degree but then would drivers give way. You might as well extend this to the SDR road where I can assure Allan Morris they speed even faster.
The problem is you can’t eliminate at all, only try and curtail it all the best you can.
