REGARDING your article on council considers bin fines to tackle litter on May 16.
If the council would stop changing when they collect bins there would not be the amount of fly tipping which has increased since the council have changed not only the days for collecting, but also the boxes for different recycling, making more work for the dustbin men.
What was the matter with clear and blue bags?
They give us all different bins each time they decide to change but never think of taking the old ones away.
All these changes cost money (I might add tax payers’ money) not the councils.
Now they have decided to change again for putting rubbish out early, again the public have to pay.
Don’t you think its about time the so-called councillors started listening to the public?
That’s what they were voted in for.
Try spending their own money, perhaps then they would think twice.
