I’M TRYING to find anyone who may have known my late uncle, Peter George Marshment, he lived in Abertillery in the period between 1940-1960s. He along with my mother were orphaned in 1933/5 in Swansea and they were separated, Peter being around 5 and my mother aged 3, they never found one another again. Peter, who was partially sighted, was a social worker in Abertillery having educated himself in Leeds university or college (I’m not sure which one). Despite Peter having passed away it always broke my mother’s heart to think of him as a child as we’ve no idea where he was brought up.
