THE Royal Welsh Comrades Association City of Newport branch would like to take this opportunity to thank the City’s Mayor and Mayoress the Lord Lieutenant of Gwent the MPS, AMS, the many dignitaries as well as the many veterans from various branches and associations also the many standards along with the band who supported the commemorative D/Day Parade & Service held on Monday, June 6. Thanks to the Rev Cannon Arthur Edwards who conducted the service, and to all those who helped organise and make the parade through the city an outstanding success, including the magnificent support from the public, and thanks to the fire service who once again provided transport. Thanks to you all those who supported this parade and service.
