IN APRIL we celebrated the actual 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. In early June we witnessed the official celebrations of her unstinted service as the longest reigning monarch.
Since then we have had the EU referendum and its aftermath with all the associated name-calling, lies and dissent. I suggest all members of parliament, business and many members of the electorate pause and think, then get out their dictionaries and check the proper meanings of democracy, collaboration and humility. Have we quickly forgotten the shining example of dedication and service set by our Queen?
