I QUITE agree with Newport Council leader Debbie Wilcox, that we should stamp out Brexit hate crime, but it takes two to tango.
My father served under the British flag in two world wars. My brothers in the Second World War. But the Alma pub in Newport cannot fly the British flag outside the pub in case it upsets our friends from distant lands.
So Debbie have a glass of your favourite tipple in any pub or club and listen to the conversations of the real people, in the real world, and not all that piffle that comes from the ivory tower in Cardiff Bay. It’s not only Brexit that causes hate crime.
