WITH over 250 published letters, 50 of those already in 2016, it amazes me just how much space this paper devotes to the views of Mr Andrew Nutt. There appears to be a huge editorial bias towards his viewpoint here as many other letters are rejected or not published, yet no matter what Mr Nutt finds to complain about you can be sure there will be another letter published within a few days. Surely it is time to stop the letter pages being used by individuals for publicity and to restrict the number of letters published for each author.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Fewer than 50% of Mr Nutt’s submitted letters are published. We reject very few letters from other authors.
