I HOPE Mr Corten is now very pleased that the Gorsedd at the National Eisteddfod has now reversed its original decision of not honouring the Welsh soccer team.
The Gorsedd has now had to break its rule to accommodate people like him who allege “racism” in that organisation, where in reality none exists at all.
The Gorsedd should have stuck to its original decision as its job is to honour individuals (and not teams) who have made a significant contribution to Welsh “cultural” life.
And does soccer fit into this cultural picture – I think not!
And I write as a huge soccer fan.
