Let’s bring life back to Newport

SO, COMRADE Bob ‘Blight’ knew he and Labour would be voted out, following the Traveller site farce, the mural farce, the three-week bin collections farce, the issuing of big wheely-bins, then taking them back and issuing thinner wheely-bins farce, the high street bus and market farce, the ignoring the electorate, etc.
So much money has been wasted over the years by the city’s councillors, council officers, and the Labour Leadership (if that is what it can be called), so much of our heritage lost to the city, so much chaos, it’s little wonder that Comrade Bob retired. I call it jumping ship, personally.
Let’s elect Independents, Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru, Ratepayers, and Greens, etc, and give both Labour and the Conservatives a kick up the backside and teach them a lesson for taking our votes for granted. We need a new style of politics for Newport; a council and councillors that work for us.
Let’s do something new. We need a change, we can be that change and bring hope, growth and life back to OUR City. I’m up for it, how about you?
