INTERESTING article on Friday, September 9, about a planning application for the former Howell’s Bakery site on Nash Road. When I have driven along that stretch of Nash Road at what could be termed ‘peak’ times, the traffic has always been very busy. Good luck to the applicants, but a tyre and exhaust centre and a vet clinic are only going to add to the problem, I would suggest. Access and egress to and from the site could be extremely difficult.
On a similar theme, I note that houses are now being built on the old Whiteheads site. I wonder if the road system will also be upgraded to help cope with the extra traffic?
