IN REPLY to John Sargent (SWA 07/09), the union flag is made up of the individual flags of the Patron Saints. So to add Wales, one would need to add one of St David’s flags to the present design. I would think a thin gold cross on a black background placed on top of St George’s cross would do the trick! But ( a long but), would Wales on top of England be acceptable?
