I WOULD like to respond to some articles that have appeared in your paper.
1. Torfaen would like to build a new sixth form college in Cwmbran.
2. Not 10 mins away is Caerleon teacher training college which developers wish to knock down for houses, but which because it is such a beautiful building the residents are against, quite rightly so in my opinion.
3. With the proposed constituency changes Caerleon is to be incorporated into Torfaen.
So in taking on board all these issues in my mind it is obvious the sixth form should go to Caerleon together with a technical college which would appeal to academic and practical studies. They would be in a beautiful building which would be more inspiring than a cube of bricks. I feel this choice would make the students and the residents of Caerleon happy.
