I WRITE this in regard to the proposed boundary changes as put forward yesterday. As a former resident of Rogerstone, it’s sad to see a place with a deep connection as part of the city of Newport through the Chartist rising be torn away like it has been proposed. Many residents of Rogerstone consider themselves proud Newportonians. I strongly urge residents and members of the public to resist these changes.
