MAY I invite all the Labour councillors of Torfaen Borough Council who voted to allow the building of private housing on our greenbelt between Pontnewydd and South Sebastopol to go and witness the destruction of our cherished countryside against the wishes of many people who campaigned against the despoiling of an area of national beauty. The closure of schools in the community and selling the land for more house building also contributes to the urbanisation of Torfaen (Centralised super-schools are based on idiotic 1970s state socialist ideology more at home in Stalinist Russia!). The fact is that there is absolutely no democracy in Torfaen only dictatorship from the Senedd.
