I AM DISAPPOINTED that the Argus didn’t cover the wonderful Mini Mela community event that was held on Saturday, September 17. The event was arranged by the Khan family, from Pillgwenlly, and attracted a large crowd who enjoyed the range of stalls and the entertainment. There were people of different ethnic and religious groups, young and old, who all came together for a really good day. Surely this is the sort of event that should be widely publicised as proof that diverse people can get together without trouble and prejudice.
