THE UK needs a new political party that speaks for and to the vast majority of working class people, a party capable of holding the Tories to account. Sadly the Labour party is now a hostage to the hard left with a leader that is only interested in pleasing his own supporters while demonising many former Labour voters and supporters as red Tories or traitors for speaking out against the hard left. Jeremy talked of holding out an olive branch to MPs and healing the party and then does the opposite. As Peter Hain eloquently pointed out ‘the “Corbynista mission is to grab hold of the party at all costs”.  “For them, winning the party rather than the country is the all-consuming mission, and anybody challenging that is a ‘traitor’ to socialism.” This extremist view is just one of many held by Jeremy and his supporters, Corbyn was a member of the board of Labour Briefing, a fringe magazine for diehard leftists that unequivocally supported the IRA’s bombing campaign. Labour are now a party of protest, division and extremism.
