A COUPLE of years ago I had reason to write to the Argus letters page with regards to the very poor service I received on my stay at the Royal Gwent Hospital, starting with a 35-hour wait on a trolley. 
After being admitted things went from bad to worse with numerous mistakes and a poor attitude from the staff etc. 
I was absolutely amazed at the change that has occurred when I recently had to re-enter the Royal Gwent where things were moving very efficiently; good food, a good atmosphere and a marvellous attitude from the staff where I was staying on D3 East where I was under Dr Gill Warwick and her brilliant team. 
Hardworking and very caring – all I can say to the Royal Gwent Staff. 
Thank you for the way you cared for me during my stay and keep up the good work. 
Well done! 
And in my opinion you are all stars.
