WHEN did we as a society become immune to killing, and promote inverted morality and a chilling disregard for human life?
On Thursday, October 27, 1967 it is 49 years since the killing of unborn children was legalised.
The bill that decriminalised the killing of unborn children by abortion under certain grounds received Royal Assent on that date. Although the act did not come into force until six months later, it started the legalised killing of unborn children by abortion in Great Britain.
Today, according to government statistics, 8,042,157 babies have been killed by legalised abortion since then. Not only does this go beyond what the supporters of the act intended, it shows that when legalised abortion is made acceptable, even in limited circumstances, the defence against killing any unborn child is torn away. We must make the idea of legalised killing of unborn children, completely illegal.
