PAUL Flynn states (November 14) “As always I will vote for what is best for the interests of my constituents.” Unfortunately in his arrogance it is always what he thinks is best for his constituents. A mistake made by many other politicians in the referendum vote. His belief that voters only backed Brexit because they believed the lie that the NHS would benefit by £350 million is an insult to his constituents and the British public’s intelligence in general.
His statement that “we cannot be imprisoned by a vote taken years earlier on the basis of lies” beggars belief.
The greatest lies, his own Labour Prime Minister made in Parliament, took us to war illegally and increased significantly today’s worldwide terrorist threat. A threat taken so seriously in the UK  that this year’s Armistice parade at the London Cenotaph banned for the first time, on tightened security grounds, many bereaved relatives wearing deceased loved ones’ medals joining the parade.
Is it beyond his comprehension that Brexit voters might disagree with his views and have been intelligent enough to question open borders security risks. Perhaps he should ask his constituents why they voted leave instead of assuming the reason was lies.
