I AM A great supporter of Gwent Police and the maintenance of law and order in our communities.
But in Tuesday’s Argus they show a picture of an elderly man they wish to speak to about the alleged disappearance of a magazine from a newsagent’s.
Presumably this man isn’t known to them as an offender, or why ask the readers of the newspaper to help identify him?
Haven’t they got pictures, or CCTV images, of more serious potential lawbreakers in the priority areas of violence, anti-social behaviour behaviour, burglary, or criminal damage etc? Perhaps it’s me, but I don’t get it.
