CARRIED in today’s Argus (23 November) is the ongoing story of the sexual abuse carried out by Jon Styler. The operative words are “he was allowed to get away with it for so long”. Do those who knew and allowed this to go on have names?
Already cash strapped Newport Council has paid out £100,000 with very much more to come. Surely those who turned the blind eye should be made to foot the bill.
