UNDER the Welsh Assembly, the people in Wales have been paying probably £50 million per year less into the NHS, by not contributing to prescription charges.
Therefore, in a decade, Wales could have had £500 million spare to fund their own extra health care, and avoid unnecessary whinging about what is going on over the border.
I am still not sure why the Assembly thought making us less financially responsible for our own health was a good idea.
