I WOULD like to thank Newport Transport and their drivers for the bus services that they have provided over the Christmas period. Newport Transport provided what I think was an acceptable level of service to most areas of Newport and also to Cardiff on Boxing Day and Tuesday December 27 enabling those who wish to visit relatives and friends or to grab bargains in the sales to do so. Newport Transport will be providing a normal Saturday Service on December 31 with an early finish and a Sunday Service with an hourly X30 service on Monday January 2. Services return to normal on January 3. N.A.T buses have been conspicuous by their absence.
I wish Newport Transport a happy and prosperous New Year and a return to the bus services that all Newport bus users had become accustomed to over many years.
