I WAS involved in an road traffic accident at the Coldra on December 21 whereby my car was hit at speed from behind.
I am still recovering but realise the outcome could have been much worse.
I’m writing to thank all who helped that night: the strangers that waited for the police, the off duty police officer, district nurse, paediatric nurse and doctor who supported me until paramedics arrived.
Huge thanks to the skilled fire brigade who cut me out of my car and to all the staff at RGH who helped get me back on my feet.
I realise his is ‘all in a day’s work’ for these professionals but I will be eternally grateful for the kindness of strangers.
