XENOPHOBIA is a debilitating disability I wrote a letter to the South Wales Argus recently suggesting that Assembly members had scant authority to increase their numbers without reference to the population of Wales by way of a referendum.
That seems to have brought about a nasty bout of xenophobia and I emphasise with those struck down.
You see the ailment is inclined to bring with it tunnel vision, verbal constipation and intolerance.
Sufferers are unable to accept that there is an alternative hypothesis, tend to lose the ability to construct a sentence and get awfully hot under the collar.
To misquote Winner; Calm down dear, it’s only a referendum.
