RE: BRIAN Donovan’s very amusing letter printed on 15th February regarding the lack of ventilation on St Julians/ Christchurch buses.
Brian Donovan starts his letter by complaining about having to wait in a cold draughty bus station on a dark and drizzly Tuesday then goes on to complain about the lack of ventilation on the bus. The only way to ventilate a bus that does not have air conditioning is by opening all the windows. This means that passengers would be travelling on a cold, draughty bus getting wet. Not many passengers would be happy to do this.
Brian Donovan has probably been travelling on buses for many years. Perhaps he could let readers know how many germs he has picked up by travelling on unhealthy buses over this time. I have never picked up any germs from travelling on a Newport Transport bus.
