SO THE Lords have flexed their ageing and atrophied muscles over “Brexit.” Why? Well, just to prove they can, such are the signs of second childhood.
The clue is their willingness to commit to thwarting the Commons a second time later this month.It means they can cease mouldering in their robes, put their toys back in the pram and go home to nanny and cocoa.There’s democracy for you.
Why do we still put up with these spoiled, unelected brats? They have no role in a modern society other than to sabotage it.
Let’s have no more pointless, political or purchased peerages; their very existence is anachronistic and an insult to those who still believe their votes actually count for anything.
