I HAVE said this before, and I have tried to block them, but they still continue daily - telesales!
Has anyone any advice on how to stop them continually phoning? I get at least three a day on average. I have had rows with them, asked questions and tried to get to the point swiftly. It never works.

They kick-off with ‘Good day. How are you sir’ - never changes. Then follows a long chat which they read from a card saying how wonderful they are. This can be anything from insurance to televisions.

Makes me feel better to keep on to their explanations as long as possible. Todays ten o’clock call was about the microwave, which they said their firm covered all in my post code area. A good ploy is to suggest that they are not employed by the company but work at a call centre!

I get my fair share of scammers either allegedly from Windows saying there is a computer fault or from the Inland Revenue with a rebate.

Whatever the whole lot of them are they are a thorough nuisance. Surely there must be some law which prevents them from hassling people?
