ON THE news today, Tuesday, Jeremy Corbyn couldn’t give a straight answer to a straight question, “How much are labour’s child-care plans going to cost?”
He stonewalled for quite a while and eventually admitted he didn’t have the figure with him. Yet this was the launch day of this policy.
Incidentally, the correct figure is £5,200,000,000 a year. (5.2 billion).
Some people may be fooled by clumsy attempts to be bribed with their own money. Not me. No government has any money. It is all ours.
Governments borrow money on our behalf. We have to pay it back. Or they tax us.
No Labour party has ever been honest with the voters. They pretend that they have access to an orchard full of money trees. Don’t be fooled by these false promises. Vote Conservative.
