MANY thanks Hew Davies, Caerleon (Argus letters Tuesday) for the heads up on Angela Jones-Evans selection as the Conservative candidate for Newport.
It seems that she is not just a Cardiff based candidate imposed on the Newport party as stated by Paul Flynn MP is his Argus letter but is in fact Newport born, bred and educated as were her parents and grandparents.
Someone you would call a “real” Newportonian and not one that claims to be.
