RE: FRONT page lead in the Argus on Tuesday 4th July, Mark Drakeford finance secretary urges people and organisations in Wales to come forward with new ideas for taxes.

I will jump in with my proposal, how about taxing all the hot air and waffle that is produced in the talking shop that is the Welsh Assembly, this should raise millions to deserving causes.

They have spent tens of millions of pounds over the years debating the M4 relief road (which will be nothing more than a Newport bypass taking business down to Cardiff and Swansea) and not a shovel of tar-mac laid yet, and millions of pounds on the Circuit of Wales only to shelve it at the last minute, one wonders, would it have been shelved if the circuit had been proposed say around Cardiff.
