MY HUSBAND Ronald has been a patient on C6 West Royal Gwent for nearly 18 months in and out all the time.
I am proud to be Welsh and having a hospital like the Royal Gwent, Newport, the care and love he received every time he went in was outstanding. Being 82 that did not matter.
The doctors, A&E Medical Assessment Unit, worked so hard to make him comfortable. The whole nursing team on C6 West was outstanding to Ron.
He has now sadly passed away but my memories of that ward will be with me forever.
My reason for this letter is the NHS can be sadly run down, on this occasion, the standard of care was outstanding.
