This topic has been at the front for months and I think it important the position of Labour and Conservatives is clarified. For some the issue is as simple as nationalise or privatise. But is it that simple?

The Labour Party, will spend an awful lot to renationalise and keep their promises. The Conservatives are reluctant to commit more money to the NHS and still have in mind a level of privatisation. The fact the NHS is the best service in the world, means it should be returned to its previous better state. Yes more money is needed, but that is not the entire answer. In Wales it seems to be more efficient but there are similar moans about ambulance times, waiting periods. delayed operations etc. Longer living and increased immigration has affected services.

My neighbour is convinced the Tories are on a mission to nationalise it. She quotes bits already handed over to Branson and food and shops already in private hands. Bearing in mind  these are only in some parts of the UK. is privatisation really being seriously considered? It does need more money, but there are problems in management (boards and salaries are not cheap!) If privatisation was feasible. it would have been done before now.

So the NHS is being used as a political platform, which does not lead to proper proposals for. Why can’t both parties agree to differ and get some positive action?
