I WOULD like to thank Gwent police and council officers for organising a meeting to discuss the recent criminal damage at Blackwood Bus station, where a number of panes of glass were smashed. Various solution were discussed, the following were agreed:
1. To install an extra CCTV camera to improve coverage.
2. To improve communication between police, council CCTV operators and council community safety wardens to ensure that all act of anti social behaviour and criminal damage are recorded and action is taken.
