CAN I suggest Mr Clive Shakesheff looks at the facts regarding our imminent departure of the EU.
Our booming economy and low rates of unemployment are the envy of the European Bloc; why on earth would we want to be shackled to the undemocratic, unrepresentative and failing regime that currently blights all our lives.
Does anyone actually believe that Italian cheesemakers, French wine producers and German car manufacturers are all going to abandon one of their biggest markets?
Perhaps Mr Shakesheff believes our £50 million per day membership fee is money well spent; I can think of many alternative worthy causes that would benefit the people of this country rather than the ludicrous vanity projects funded by our masters in Brussels.
