Two years on from the referendum, I still find it hard to believe why Wales voted to leave the EU. I went for a short bike ride with my wife a couple of days ago from Ystrad Mynach to the climbing centre near Bedlinog and back. We rode on traffic-free cycle paths through two lovely parks at Penallta and Cwm Bargoed to the climbing centre itself. All of these facilities have received funding from the European Regional Development Fund, and would probably not exist if we weren't a member of the EU. After Brexit, will the Westminster Government fund such projects? I very much doubt it.
