In reply to David Lloyd (Argus letter) concerning the E.U. For every £2 we send to the E.U we get £1 back (Approximately). So the funding from the European development fund in reality is just a return of our own money. Anybody that cannot see this has my sympathy. To move on the remain camp are demanding a vote on the final deal with the E.U , so if the electorate say no to it we just forget the referendum of two years ago and stay in the E.U. But do we? We have triggered article fifty and given notice to leave next year. It is probable that the E.U would require the U.K to re-apply for membership. The E.U would then almost certainly demand even more money, freedom of goods and trade also the free movement of people, the real cause of Brexit in the first place. The E.U would also require the U.K to abandon the pound sterling and join the Euro. I would say what we need is a general election on the subject of Brexit to clear the air and let the government move forward. In conclusion then is there anybody who can explain to me why the E.U has never had their accounts signed off? Very strange
