I take a lot of flak for asking for amenities. In my local community of Glasllwch ( nant-coch ) Park and Coed-Mellyn These are much loved parks in our area they have served the area for 60 years for sport and access to shops and pubs and of course public transport connectivity. Since our estate was taken off transport routes . We have lost connections to rail station at Bassaleg also lost connection to Risca and Morrisons . Walking routes to Bassaleg school and Tredegar Park and House . With repairs to Bridge in park, upgrade to play area and older age activities, and repairs and duel posts for rugby and football.

And some more seats as you the city have damaged them with cutting machine over the last twenty years and not replaced . Top soil was asked for to fill holes in pitches. As the site is now subsiding . The french drain needs replacing as it has not been renewed in 40 years . The Argus, the councillors the welsh government all know the community of Glasllwch has been let down . For pity's sake and for the future generations to come fix our connectivity and upgrade our amenities . Forget the politics is for I understand its a conservative ward . My grandkids and I enjoy our local park and they don't vote . But I do and its not Tory?
