WHEN there is a new broom in the editor’s seat there are going to be changes; where he will want to put his own mark on the paper.
I only have the Argus as a morning daily delivery and am happy with the new format.
All the national and international news comes in from agencies and can be seen or heard quite readily on other forms of media reporting; such as TV, national press and radio.
However, it is only local papers, such as the Argus, that are going to report on local events and issues.
So the more space spent covering these the better for the local readership.
Every Monday we have the Grassroots pages that I enjoy reading ‘from our very local correspondents’.
Long may it continue.
