AS THE newly elected Independent councillor for the Pontypool Ward, may I take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported me throughout my campaign, entrusting me with the responsibility of representing the residents at Torfaen council.
I am fully committed to the challenges ahead and will work tirelessly over the next five years to improve the Pontypool community, town centre and park.
I very much look forward to working closely with residents, local business owners and council staff in striving towards putting the pride back into Pontypool.
