I DO not want to get involved in the politics of Keith Parry’s republican diatribe; I accept that people support his view or do not. This is freedom of speech. I do take issue with the factual error concerning the Union Flag however. This flag is not an “English flag”, it is the flag of the United Kingdom. As such, it is the national flag of any part of our union, and people have every right to display it with pride, be they “English settlers” or “Welsh natives”!
