Mess offends pedestrians

I THANK Gerry S Rose not only for defending Brian Donovan but also for his splendid use of the English language (June 20). I think I will pass on his kind offer to accompany him on his illegal dog-poo spotting adventures but perhaps Brian Donovan could act as substitute.

Yes Gerry, I was a little humorous on the topic, and you are correct in pointing out the grave offence it causes to many pedestrians. I must say that I can now sleep in safety knowing that you and Brian are ever on the case.
