Wild flowers look lovely

In April, I wrote to this page requesting information regarding the areas of cleared and ploughed land around the Harlequin roundabout area. Thanks to the gentleman who phoned and told me it was to be seeded with meadow flowers. Remembering the last time this area was disastrously designated a conservation area, I reserved judgement.

I must offer congratulations to all connected with this venture, as the show and variety of flowers is first class, considering it’s a first seeding. Possibly, these plants will be allowed to spread further, which can only be a good thing, assuming that they are tended correctly.
