In the 1950s, I spent three years in the Army and received several commendations. I went on to work at Switchgear Transformers, where I encountered the police on several occasions and found that they were not all that they would have you believe.

I would like to find out at what level the instruction came for them to have three successful convictions in a 12-month period.

This, I believe, pressured them into dealing with crimes with an almost assured conviction.

These are not the ramblings of an old man as I have heard this first hand of several police acquaintances over many years.
