I too share the anger expressed by Mrs Hunt and Mrs Adams (Argus, July 7).
These cuts, of course, replicate those announced by Geoff Hoon, Labour defence minister in 2006. Then, four infantry battalions, four RAF fighter squadrons and six warships were disbanded. At the same time, our troops had poor body armour and patrol vehicles not fit for purpose.
