Don’t blame Newport youngsters for litter

 I AM contacting you regarding a piece that our local councillor, Alan Morris, posted in his Grassroots section this week.

In reference to litter in the Nash Road area, I cannot believe how quick our councillor is to blame the youngsters in the area. Surely he knows that we have not one, but two unofficial Gipsy sites in the area and this could also be contributing to increasing rubbish.

Why should our youngsters be blamed for everything? I have also witnessed adults dropping rubbish and fly-tipping.

It’s not all down to the youth of today.

i parked my car near corporation road last week it seems some residents just throw their rubbish in the streets around there do they not have a regular bin collection in that part of town
