THANK you to Mr Steve Palmer, Langstone, for his letter (August 31) in praise of Llanyrafon Manor.
It has given us an immense feel- good factor to have the manor publicly acclaimed. Since realising a dream in the restoration of this wonderful 16th-century, Grade II-listed manor house and the opening in June this year, we have had many visitors leaving excellent comments, and to read Mr Palmer’s comments in print was a wonderful surprise. We want everyone to come to share this historic gem in the heart of Cwmbran. It is open seven days a week from 10am until 4pm.
